The Kolkata clubs kept up the title pace as reigning champions Bengaluru FC once again dropped points...
It was another fascinating round of games in the I-League as the table starts to take shape with the league approaching its halfway mark.
In the major talking points Shillong Lajong maintained their perfect home record, the Kolkata clubs both won while bottom outfit Minerva Punjab picked up their first top flight win.

Starting at the bottom Minerva Punjab sealed their first win of the season with a 2-1 success against Mumbai. Boaringdao Bodo created history becoming the youngest goalscorer in the history of the league. Anirudh Thapa also got on the scoresheet while Karan Sawhney scored for Mumbai. The Mumbaikars have now suffered five straight defeats and with tough fixtures ahead their form is unlikely to turn around soon.
Mohun Bagan and Aizawl produced arguably the game of the round as the Mariners edged a 5-goal thriller. Darryl Duffy scored with barely two minutes on the clock but Jayesh Rane levelled it up just before the break. Jeje Lalpekhlua than restored the hosts advantage but his goal was cancelled out minutes later by Ashutosh Mehta. The full-back then brought down Katsumi Yusa in the box and Duffy stepped up to do the honours from the spot.
In Sunday's opener Shillong Lajong kept up their impressive home form making it four wins in a row. Aser Dipanda Dika scored the only goal of the game after an error from opposition keeper Priyant Singh who fumbled a simple cross.
East Bengal easered to a comfortable win over Bako Chenn City Wedson Anselme, Willis Plaza and Lalrindika Ralte all getting amongst the goals.
Elsewhere a brace from Holicharan Narzary, with a goal in each half helped DSK Shivajians to a 2-0 lead over Bengaluru FC, However, the champions hit back first through skipper Sunil Chhetri and then with Salam Ranjan Singh scoring a late equalizer.

Aizawl and Lajong are are third and fourth respectively, while after going three without a win the Blues have slipped to fifth. Shivajians and Mumbat are tied on six points, Churchill Brothers and Minerva are only a point behind. Chennai are bottom with four points.
