The Indian National Football team are set to lock horns with the five-time World Cup-winning Brazil National Team tonight at the iconic Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, Kolkata, at 7:30 pm IST.
This will be the second game for the Blue Tigers in this landmark FIFA International Window, where India will face three top-tier international teams that recently featured in the FIFA World Cup 2026.
After an exciting 1-1 draw against Panama last Friday, the Blue Tigers return to the pitch to face Brazil, the highest-ranked opponent India has faced since the introduction of the new FIFA ranking system.
The Seleção arrive for the clash against India after a 4-2 win against Australia, courtesy of Vanderson, Raphinha, Bruno Guimaraes, and Vinicius Junior, who found their name in the scoresheet.
Meanwhile, India travel to Kolkata after a historic 1-1 draw against the 44th-ranked Panama at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru, where a late first-half goal from Ryan Williams, coupled with an excellent team performance, held Panama to a deadlock.
At Kolkata, history is set to be etched as the Blue Tigers go head-to-head with the Seleção for the first time. Despite being a friendly match, either side will push to their best abilities, leave it all on the pitch and step out with a positive result.
