Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 champions East Bengal FC are all set to host Kuwaiti Premier League runners up Al Qadsia SC for the AFC Champions League (ACL) Two playoff match on 12th August.
The winners of the ACL Two playoff round will secure a place in the ACL Two group stage. Alongside ISL champions East Bengal FC, Super Cup winners FC Goa will also feature in the ACL Two playoff on August 12, where they will face the champions of Turkmenistan, FK Arkadag.

The ACL Two playoff matches are going to take place on August 12th. Indian Super League (ISL) champions East Bengal FC will play their playoff match in VYBK stadium, Kolkata against the runners up of Kuwaiti Premier League Al Qadsia SC.
Meanwhile, the Super Cup winners FC Goa will face the champions of Turkmenistan, FK Arkadag at the Arkadag Stadium in Turkmenistan.
The third playoff match will see Indonesian club Persib Bandung take on Manila Digger from Philippines.

A look at the opponent of East Bengal FC

Al Qadsia SC are a historic club from Kuwait, established in 1953 as Al Jazira before being renamed Al Qadsia SC on October 20, 1960. They currently compete in the Kuwaiti Premier League and finished the 2025-26 season as runners up.
The Kuwaiti side have won the Kuwaiti Premier League title 17 times, the Kuwait Emir Cup 17 times, the Kuwait Crown Prince Cup 9 times, the Kuwait Super Cup 7 times, and the Kuwait Federation Cup 6 times.
They also did good in the continental stage, winning the AFC Cup in 2014. Al Qadsia finished this season in second place behind Kuwait SC, ending the campaign 12 points apart of the champions.
The majority of their squad consists of Kuwaiti players, although the team also features foreign players from Congo, Senegal, and Algeria.
They will be a tough opponent for East Bengal FC, but home advantage could prove crucial for the Kolkata side.
