Bibinao Fernandes led the India U17 team to the SAFF U17 Championship glory and is prepared to lead the Blue Colts in the AFC U17 Asian Cup Qualifiers. This can prove to be an ordeal with teams like Iran in the group, but the Blue Colts have the potential to grind out victories against these teams.
India to host Group D

The Blue Colts will have the home advantage as they host Group D. The fans will have the opportunity to cheer for the future stars of Indian Football. All the matches will be held at the EKA Arena in Ahmedabad. Besides India, the other teams in the group are Iran, Palestine, Chinese Taipei, and Lebanon.
After playing their first qualifier against Palestine, India will face Chinese Taipei on November 26. It will be a quick turnaround for the Blue Colts as they face Lebanon two days later, on November 28. The last of these qualifiers will be the toughest for India to crack. Iran will test India’s preparations on November 30.
