Punjab FC get a five-star accreditation by AIFF
The All-India Football Federation (AIFF) has revealed the list of results of the Academy Accreditation Programme of football academies in India for the 2026-27 season. As we all know, nurturing talents from the very beginning is very important to improve the game style and future of Indian football.
Academy Accreditation is a very key part for any football academy as it is a vision of AIFF to develop the playing standards and will increase the success possibility. AIFF gave stars regarding the accreditation results, as many clubs have the five-star rating and also many got one star.
A total of 164 academies applied for accreditation for the 2026-27 season, of which 142 earned accreditation. 16 academies achieved five and four-star ratings, significantly more than last season’s tally.
