All you need to know about Super League Kerala teams
Kerala Super League is a development project for Indian football.
Kerala’s state football league, the Super League Kerala- SLK is all set to launch its inaugural edition this September. It will be the latest inclusion to Kerala’s already handsome-looking football ecosystem. United Football Sports Development Pvt. Ltd. and the Kerala Football Association will supervise the league’s administration.
The league, which includes six clubs in its inaugural season, will schedule games at three distinct locations throughout God’s own country: the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi, EMS Corporation Stadium in Kozhikode, and Sports Council Stadium in Manjeri.
In addition to giving access to elite football prospects and support to the young guns of Kerala to fuel their progress in both Indian and international competitions, the league is expected to generate numerous benefits for the six locales that have been chosen and will showcase Kerala’s rich cultural diversity.
The teams can field seven Indian players alongside four overseas players. Broadcasting giants Star Sports and Disney+ Hotstar will telecast the Kerala Super League nationwide. The league is going to be one of a kind for multiple reasons.
