Bengaluru FC vs East Bengal FC: All-time head-to-head record

Both sides are closely matched and have given each other fierce competition.
Two stalwarts of Indian football, Bengaluru FC and East Bengal FC are set to lock horns for their Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 campaign opener. The two giants had a disappointing league performance last season, finishing in the bottom half of the table, and are now certainly looking to change their fortunes this time.
Starting this season, the sides performed well in the 133rd Durand Cup, where the Torchbearers finished in the quarters while the Blues went to the semi-finals. Now, the sides with better-reinforced squads will aim to excel in India’s pinnacle football tournament.
Hosts Bengaluru and East Bengal have been enjoying an intense and fierce rivalry for over a decade. The concerned clubs first met on 26th October 2013, in the then-Indian top-division I-League. Since then the sides have met 18 times, with almost a neck-to-neck scoreline.
In last year’s ISL, the sides had one win each in the two meetings, with both score lines being 2-1 in favour of the hoisting side. The one-goal difference was also observed in the season prior, where both matches were clinched by East Bengal.
The upcoming fixture is scheduled to happen at the iconic Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru from 7:30 PM on 14th September. Before this highly anticipated exciting fixture, let’s have a look at their head-to-head tally till now, especially in the ISL.
