Bhubaneshwar to host Super Cup 2025 from April 21

East Bengal are the defending champions of the Super Cup.
The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has officially announced that the Super Cup 2025 will take place in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, starting April 21, 2025. The prestigious knockout tournament will feature 16 teams, including 13 clubs from the Indian Super League (ISL) and three from the I-League.
This marks the second consecutive year that Odisha will host the Super Cup, reinforcing the state’s growing reputation as a hub for Indian football. Defending champions East Bengal FC, who triumphed over Odisha FC in the 2024 final, will aim to retain their crown.
AFC Champions League 2 (ACL2) playoff spot for grabs
A major incentive for participating clubs is the coveted AFC Champions League 2 (ACL2) playoff spot, which will be awarded to the winners. This provides a golden opportunity for Indian teams to compete at the continental level.
Additionally, Mohun Bagan SG has already secured direct qualification for the ACL2 group stage by winning the 2024–25 ISL Shield. With high stakes and fierce competition, the 2025 Super Cup promises to be an exciting battle for domestic supremacy.
