Indian Football Calendar for November 2025: Al-Nassr vs FC Goa, AFC U17 Asian Cup Qualifiers, Super Cup & more

India will host the AFC U-17 Asian Cup Qualifiers in Ahmedabad.

For Indian football fans, October was a month of highs and lows. While the men’s senior national team was eliminated from the 2027 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers after four games following a draw and defeat to Singapore, the U-23 boys, headed by Naushad Moosa, had a fantastic window where they went unbeaten against hosts Indonesia in two matches. Bibiano’s U-17 team played two friendlies against China, losing one and winning one.

If you were a fan of women’s football, you must have been blown away by the magnificent performance of the U-17 girls, who led India to the AFC Asian Cup following the footsteps of their seniors and U-20 girls.

The U-20 team played two friendlies with Kazakhstan U-19, winning one and drawing the other. Crispin Chhetri’s senior women’s national team competed in a tri-nation friendly against Nepal and Iran, losing both matches. However, a loss was predicted because the head coach was experimenting with fresh players for the senior squad.

Now that club football is back, supporters can watch their teams play on the pitch rather than arguing in court and writing emails to the AIFF. With the Super Cup, IFA Shield, and Super League Kerala, fans have had the opportunity to watch some high-quality matches.

Now it’s time to look at the Indian football calendar for November & mark down the crucial dates to see our favorite clubs and the Indian national team play.

Indian men’s senior national team

The Indian men’s national team will have little activity in November because they are only scheduled to play just one match in the 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualification against Bangladesh. With elimination certain, Khalid Jamil should test some of the younger players from the U-23 team rather than the senior players.

Indian U23 men’s national team

Although the Indian U-23 national team’s involvement in the Asian Games is yet to be confirmed, the AIFF has provided Naushad Moosa and his U-23 youngsters with valuable game time in recent international windows.

The Blue Colts will visit Thailand to play two friendly matches against the hosts as revealed exclusively by Khel Now. Everyone will be glued to their seats to see this young & energetic team play wonderful football, just as it has done lately.

India U17 men’s national team:

The 2026 AFC U-17 Asian Cup Qualifiers is Indian football’s major event in November. The Group D games will be hosted by India at the EKA Arena in Ahmedabad. With seniors and U-23s failing to qualify for the competition, Bibiano would be determined in making things work and get to the final competition.

India women’s national teams:

Although there is an official FIFA international window for women’s football from November 24 to December 2, the AIFF are yet to release fixtures for the women’s NT across all age categories.

After the U-17, U-20, and senior teams qualified to contest the AFC Women’s Asian Cup, it remains to be seen what AIFF has in their plans to prepare the girls in the best possible way for the final competition.

AFC Champions League Two:

FC Goa will resume their AFC Champions League-2 campaign with two critical away games against Al-Nassr and Al-Zawraa. The Gaurs will play for dignity and try to secure at least one win in this ACL-2 season after losing their first three games.

AFC Women’s Champions League:

East Bengal women will begin their AFC Women’s Champions League campaign in November, having been placed in Group B with FC Nasaf, Bam Khatoon, and Wuhan Jiangda, the hosts. Head coach Anthony Andrews created history by leading the Moshal Girls to the AWCL for the first time in club history, and he would hope to achieve even more success in the upcoming group stage games.

AIFF Super Cup 2025-26

With 12 ISL clubs and four I-League clubs back in play, the Super Cup has made Indian football fans happy again. The competition has been thrilling so far, with I-League teams upsetting ISL teams, Goan rains, and plenty of goals in the early kickoff games. The group stage is scheduled to take place until November 6, with knockouts lasting until November 22.
