Durand Cup 2025 Group F Preview: Imphal Derby headlines group stage

Clubs will get a chance to shine in the valley of Imphal in Durand Cup 2025.

The 134th edition of the tournament, Durand Cup 2025 has kicked off on 23rd July 2025. The groups have been drawn, and the fixtures are out as excitement builds around the start of the 2025-26 football season.

While a few Indian Super League (ISL) clubs have withdrawn from the competition due to current issues in Indian football, clubs that are generally overlooked now finally have a chance to shine.

Group F of the 2025 Durand Cup is certainly a testament to this, as all four teams have a chance to top the charts.

Which teams are part of Group F in the Durand Cup 2025 ?

Being played in Imphal, NEROCA FC will have the home support behind them. They last played the Durand Cup in 2022, finishing fourth in their group. The Durand Cup 2025 edition gives the I-League 2 club a good chance to make it to the knockout stage.

TRAU FC also last played the Durand Cup in 2022, finishing last in their group behind rivals NEROCA FC. The Imphal derby between the two I-League 2 clubs is always intense, and it will absolutely be the game to watch in Group F.

Real Kashmir were the last part of the Durand Cup in its 2019 edition. The Snow Leopards have been consistent in the I-League and finished third in the competition last season. They will be the favourites to win this group on paper.

Indian Navy, the fourth team in Group F, will certainly be hoping to turn its fortunes around. They have not tasted victory in the 2022, 2023, or 2024 editions of the Durand Cup, picking up just one draw in 10 group games.

All Group F matches of the 2025 Durand Cup will be played at the Khuman Lampak Main Stadium in Imphal.

Where and how to watch the Durand Cup 2025?

The 2025 Durand Cup Group F matches will take place from 30th July to 12th August. All the 2025 Durand Cup matches will be shown on the Sony Ten Sports network.

The matches will also be streamed live on Sony LIV as the tournament begins from 23rd July 2025.
