The Durand Cup 2026 see an interesting development as Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff is all set to make his debut in the 135th edition of Durand Cup according to the reports of RevSportz.

The 36-year-old actor has been registered in Mumbay FC’s squad for Durand Cup 2026 and is expected to make his debut in the club’s last group stage match against Nongkseh SS & CC on 11th August at the JLN Stadium, Shillong.

According to a source as quoted by RevSportz revealed, “Tiger has registered with the team and is most likely to make an appearance in the final group stage match. He has been training regularly with the squad. Mumbay FC will travel to Shillong on July 30 for their group stage fixtures.”

Mumbay FC are a professional football club based out the city of Mumbai, Maharashtra. The club was officially launched in 2024 by the club’s chairman Ali Khan and was graced by the presence of Tiger Shroff.

Mumbay FC were given a spot in the Mumbai Premier League 2024-25 and this was the time when the club roped in Tiger Shroff as an unofficial marquee player to promote the club and Tiger even made his debut during this time.

Mumbay FC have been playing in Maharashtra State Senior Men’s Football League and also are a part of I-League 3, the fourth tier of Indian club football. This time the Mumbai based club will time their debut in the prestigious Durand Cup taking another step towards the club’s growth.

Tiger Shroff’s Mumbay FC are placed in the group E of the Durand Cup 2026. All the group E games will be played at the Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) Stadium in Shillong.

Mumbay FC will begin their maiden Durand Cup campaign on August 3 when they take on Langsning FC at 7:00 pm IST.

Heading next, the Mumbai club will play the Indian Football League (IFL) side Shillong Lajong FC on 8th August at 4 pm IST. This match will pose a tough challenge for Mumbay FC and getting a positive result out of this will be very important.
