Real Kashmir have registered five foreigners for their 2024-25 I-League campaign.

The Snow Leopards will soon be on the prowl once again as they begin their I-League 2024-25 campaign against Rajasthan United on 24th November. Playing at home, their TRC Polo Synthetic Turf Ground, the Kashmiri club will certainly be looking for a positive start.

Real Kashmir have made quite a few changes in their squad before in the transfer window. Amongst their foreign stars, only Kamal Issah has been retained from last season.

Here are the foreign players who will be representing Real Kashmir in the I-League 2024-25 season:

Kamal Issah – Ghana

The 32-year-old signed for Real Kashmir in the 2023 summer transfer window. Issah is the only foreigner who has been retained by the club ahead of the 2024-25 I-League season. The defensive midfielder made 23 league appearances for his club last season scoring one goal and giving two assists.

Before coming to India, the Ghanaian brings with him a lot of experience having extensively played in Europe. Issah has represented Stade Rennais, Nordsjaelland, Stabaek, Genclerburligi, Eskisehirspor, Istanbulspor, Keciorengucu, and Ostersund in his career.

Aminou Bouba – Cameroon

The Cameroonian represented Gokulam Kerala FC for the last three seasons and now joins Real Kashmir with ample experience in Indian football. Bouba, who primarily plays as a centre-back, has played 45 league games for the Malabarians and has even won the I-League title in 2022.

The 33-year-old has represented the Cameroon national team on three occasions and has also played for Saudi Pro League sides Al-Ettifaq, Al-Tai, and Al-Khaleej in his career.

Kojo Conney Idan – Ghana

The Ghanaian will be playing in India for the first time this season with Real Kashmir. The central midfielder represented Bahraini club Al-Hala SC. Idan has also played for Tajikistan’s Ravshan Kulob and ZSKA Dushanbe.

While he has not played for his nation’s senior team, the 27-year-old did represent the Ghana U23 side. The midfielder will bring with him a host of Asian experience but it has to be seen if he can settle in Indian conditions soon.

Ramazani Tshimanga – DR Congo

The 22-year-old arrives in India for the first time in his career. Tshimanga represented Cape Town City in the 2023-24 season. The centre-back has also played for DR Congo clubs Groupe Bazano and AS Vita Club.

Tshimanga played six league games in South Africa last season and has come to Real Kashmir looking to enhance his skills. The DR Congo citizen will be one of the youngest international players in the I-League this season.

Abdou Karim Samb – Senegal

Real Kashmir’s goalscoring hopes will rest on their new striker Abdou Karim this season. Having played for Shillong Lajong and Churchill Brothers, the center forward has scored seven goals in 25 I-League appearances.

The Senegalese player started his career with ASC Jaraaf in his home country before making a big move to Turkish side Hatayspor in 2018. Karim has also played for Safa Beirut, ASC Diambour, Niarry Tally, and Khemisset before coming to India.
