I-League 2024-25: List of all head coaches

Some names have great management experience.
The I-League is back with another action-packed season. However, it is starting late this season due to some off-the-pitch issues. The 2024-25 season will see 12 teams battle for the trophy and promotion to next season’s Indian Super League.
There has been much controversy regarding the broadcasting of the I-League this time. All teams have prepared well for this season as they have had a long pre-season. This will surely be an exciting season. Here are the teams which will participate in the I-League this season:
Aizawl FC, Churchill Brothers FC, Delhi FC, Dempo SC, Inter Kashi, Namdhari FC, Rajasthan United FC, Real Kashmir FC, Shillong Lajong FC, Sporting Club Bengaluru, Sreenidi Deccan FC.
Ahead of the new season, let us take a look at the head coaches of each of the teams this season:
Head Coaches
Aizawl FC – Victor Lalbiakmawia
He is not someone who is very well known in Indian Football but he has experience of managing youth teams in Mizoram and for the first time, he will manage Aizawl.
Last season Aizawl finished in 10th place and surely Victor will look to help his team perform better this season.
Churchill Brothers FC – Dimitris Dimitriou
Dimitris is from Cyprus and brings a lot of experience in managing clubs in top-tier football.
He is someone who likes to play attacking football and surely he can help the team to achieve their objectives.
Delhi FC – Yan Law
Yan is a very well-known coach in Indian Football and he is someone who is known as one of the best coaches in India. Despite being so young he has enough experience in managing teams.
Last time Delhi FC performed well and this season they will aim to get a promotion for sure.
Dempo SC – Samir Naik
Former India International and a former Dempo player is the manager of the Goan club. He guided Dempo to securing promotion to the I-League, achieving second place finish in the 2023-24 season I-League 2. There are a lot of expectations from Dempo coming into this season.
Gokulam Kerala – Antonio Reuda
The Spanish tactician already has experience managing a team in the I-League. Recently he said that he wants the league to have a much better organisation. Rueda managed Churchill Brothers in the 2021-22 season.
Inter Kashi – Antonio Lopez Habas
He is a very well-known person in Indian Football. He is one of the best tacticians in the country as of now. His CV is full of achievements and now Inter Kashi aims to go to ISL under his leadership.
Namdhari – Fernando Capobianco
This will be his first season in charge and he is from Argentina. Fans can expect their team to play an attacking style of play under his guidance.
Rajasthan United FC – Walter Caprile
This season they have a new foreign contingent and a new coaching staff as well. Caprile is new to Indian Football and surely will look to have a great season.
Real Kashmir FC – Ishfaq Ahmed
Recently Ishfaq was the head coach of the India U-16 side and previously he worked as an assistant coach in ISL as well. He is from Kashmir and under him they will surely look to have a great season this time.
Shillong Lajong – Jose Hevia
Hevia is from Spain and he has a lot of experience in Indian Football, especially in the I-League. He likes to play the possession style of football and Lajong will surely be a team to watch this season under him.
Sporting Club Bengaluru – Chinta Chandrasekhar Rao
Rao is still a very young coach and has experience managing teams in the Banglore Super Divison.
Sreenidi Deccan FC – Rui Amorim
For the last couple of seasons, they have failed to get a promotion to the ISL despite playing some really good football. Amorim is new to Indian Football but still, there are a lot of expectations from him.
