Inter Kashi will lock horns with Delhi FC in their second fixture of the I-League 2024-25 edition, at the Kalyani Stadium on 1st December (Sunday).

The kick-off for this game is scheduled at 7:00 PM IST. Antonio Lopez Habas’ Inter Kashi started their I-League season with a 1-0 victory over newly-promoted side Sporting Club Bengaluru.

Thanks to all three points against Sporting Club Bengaluru, Habas’ side currently sit third in the league table, after the conclusion of gameweek 1.

The head coach said before the fixture, “Delhi FC will be a difficult opponent. But the idea for us is to win every match.”Delhi FC on the other hand, commenced their season with a 0-0 draw against Namdhari FC on 23 November (Saturday). Sitting in seventh place in the table, they now have Inter Kashi in front of them, who will enter this game with a win in their bag. The task will be tough for Delhi FC too, since they are the away side in this clash and will lack the home support.

“However, the Delhi FC supremo Yan Law is confident about his team performing well against Inter Kashi. He said before the game, “Playing against Inter Kashi is always a tough challenge. They had a fantastic first game. But we have done our homework.”

Notably, the previous I-League campaign saw Inter Kashi defeat Delhi FC with the same scoreline on both occasions (2-0). The upcoming clash on Sunday will once again yield a sublime battle between two very tactical head coaches. The fixture will be telecasted live on the SSEN application.
