Where and how to watch I-League 2024-25 in India?

This will be the eighteenth edition of the I-League.

The I-League 2024-25 season is set to commence on November 22. This will mark the 18th season of the prestigious league and the third season in the second division of Indian football. The competition will feature 12 teams competing for the championship title and a coveted spot in the top tier of Indian football, the Indian Super League (ISL).

The league will begin in November and conclude with the final scheduled for April 6, 2025. Sporting Club Bengaluru and Dempo SC are the two new teams joining the league, having finished as champions and runners-up, respectively, in the I-League 2023-24.

Sporting Bengaluru enters the league after winning the I-League 2 under head coach Chinta Chandrashekar Rao, finishing at the top of the table with 33 points from 14 games, thereby securing promotion. Meanwhile, Dempo SC, one of the most successful clubs in Indian football and three-time champions of the league, makes their return to the second division after finishing as runners-up.

The season begins with a doubleheader on matchday one. Sreenidi Deccan FC will battle Gokulam Kerala FC at the Deccan Arena in Hyderabad at 4.30 pm IST in the season opener. Inter Kashi will host SC Bengaluru at the Naihati Bankimanjali Stadium in Naihati at 7 pm in the second fixture of the matchday.

After multiple discussions and feedback from the clubs, the All India Football Federation – AIFF has devised an improved plan to enhance broadcasting and marketing opportunities. This plan has been developed through consultations between AIFF and the clubs, with effective measures from both parties to meet the quality standards for high-quality matches broadcast. Therefore, let’s look at where I-League 2024-25 will be broadcast.
