I-League 2024-25: Updated Points Table, most goals, and most assists after SC Bengaluru vs Real Kashmir FC

SC Bengaluru earned vital points for survival in the I-League.
The match week 19 of the I-League is slowly shaping out to be a crucial week for all teams involved as the stakes get higher. Sunday’s match week began with Aizawl FC registering a clinical 2-0 win over Delhi FC at the Mahilpur Football Stadium.
A brace from Aizawl left-winger Lalbiakdika Vanlalvunga was enough to guide the away side past the home side. It was the away side that had a dominant start to the game and could have been runaway winners if it wasn’t for some bad luck and inefficient finishing.
However, their attacking play did result in their opening goal as some erratic play at the back from Delhi led to Lalbiadika beating his defender and slotting it into the net. He then added a second goal to his tally after showing great anticipation and skill to dribble past the keeper and finish into an empty net.
The second game on Sunday witnessed Rajasthan United FC welcome Shillong Lajong FC to the Vidhyadhar Nagar Stadium in Jaipur. The home side were relentless against Shillong, who conceded four goals in a game which virtually ended their title aspirations for this season.
Goals from Abhash Thapa (45+2’), Martand Raina (50’), Seiminmang Manchong (54’), and Pranjal Bhumij (76′) were enough to send the visitors packing. A complete performance in Jaipur as Rajasthan has finally won a game after their recent two-game losing streak. While for Lajong it’s the end of their title contention as the loss leaves them vulnerable to being leap-frogged by Sreenidi Deccan who have one game in hand.
Monday’s game witnessed Namdhari FC welcome Gokulam Kerala FC with both sides looking to record three important points. It was the away side who came out on top as they walked out 1-3 winners courtesy of goals from Thabiso Brown (57′), Adama Niane (81′), and Nacho Abeledo (90+2′). While Manvir Singh (63′) did score the equalizer as Namdhari showed some sign of life after going down to 10 men, their fightback was short-lived.
Tuesday’s game witnessed newly-promoted SC Bengaluru welcome high-flying Real Kashmir FC to the Bangalore Football Stadium with three invaluable points at stake. It was the home side that came out on top in a fiercely contested game in which the home side scored early in the second half to add three valuable points and move out of the relegation zone.
Goals from Thomya Shimray (5′), Shravan Shetty (36′), and Faslurahman Methukayil (48′) were enough to counter a brilliant brace from Gnohere Krizo (12′, 32′) in the first half. A game of immense consequences at the bottom half of the table, SC Bengaluru managed to hold on despite being down to 10-men for more than half an hour after O Sanatomba Singh was sent off in the 60th minute.
It was a significant win for the home side, who now have a one-point lead over Aizawl FC in 11th place. While it is a huge result for SC Bengaluru at home, they have three more match weeks to survive in the I-League.
