IFL 2025-26: Updated points table, most goals after Sreenidi Deccan vs Dempo SC

Sreenidi go top of IFL table with win over Dempo
The first matchday of IFL 2025-26 Matchweek 5 began in the most thrilling fashion after Aizawl got the better of familiar opponents Chanmari FC in the Aizawl derby.
It was Chanmari FC who drew the first blood after Malsawmsanga and a penalty goal from Jota saw them leading 2-0 after the end of the first 45 minutes. But what happened in the next 45 minutes was something that no one saw coming.
Vincent pulled one back in the 52nd minute, and a brace from Laldawngzauala saw Aizawl turning the tables and clinching a 3-2 historic comeback win. The IFL 2025-26 saw it’s first ever Aizawl derby and no wonder that was one for the history books.
The second matchday of Matchweek 5 saw two thrilling clashes as Namdhari got the better of Real Kashmir in the first game. The game was inching closer to a goalless draw but a goal from Lotjem in the 68th minute was enough to seal the first victory for the Punjab outfit tonight.
The final game of the day saw Sreenidhi Deccan clinching all three points to go top of the table. The Telangana outfit won the game in the most dominating fashion as ten-man Sreenidhi won the game 3-1 against bottom-placed Dempo.
Let’s take a closer look at how the IFL points table has changed after this game and find out how tonight’s results will impact the championship prospects of different teams.
A brief look at the IFL 2025-26 points table

A win tonight for Sreenidhi takes them to the top spot, but Diamond Harbour can still change that tomorrow. A win for Namdhari was also vital as they go to 6 points and are still alive in the title race. The margins are very fine, and two consecutive wins can completely alter the equation.
Talking about Dempo, the nightmare doesn’t seem to end for the Goan outfit. Goa’s only hope in the second division is on the verge of getting relegated. The case is no different for Real Kashmir; a defeat tonight makes it even more difficult

What to expect in matchday 15 of IFL 2025-26:
Two high-octane clashes await us in the final matchday of Matchweek 5. The first game will feature Gokulam and Shillong Lajong. This will be an interesting match as Shillong can get to the top of the table with a win over the Kerala outfit.
The last clash of the day will feature Diamond Harbour and Rajasthan United. The top of the table clash where the winner takes the top spot. The Kolkata outfit has been in sublime form after conceding the first defeat. A draw, however, would see Sreenidhi remaining atop as they are superior to Diamond Harbour in head-to-head.
