IFL 2025-26: Updated points table, most goals after Real Kashmir vs Sreenidi Deccan

Diamond Harbour is the favourite to get a promotion to the ISL
The third matchday of Matchweek 9 of the Indian Football League (IFL) saw a total of 4 goals in two games. Where we saw Real Kashmir FC make an immediate upset over the Sreenidi Deccan FC as they defeated them 2-0 at home.
As the first phase of the current round comes to an end, the race for the IFL trophy and ISL promotion has taken a new turn. In the first game, Rajasthan United FC beat Dempo SC with a score line of 2-1, in a narrowly contested game. Rajasthan United FC edge past Dempo SC with two comeback goals. Gerard Artigas and Thomyo L. Shimray scored for Rajasthan United, while Marcus Joseph netted for Dempo SC.
In the other game of the day, Real Kashmir FC caused an upset over the southern Sreenidi Deccan FC 2-0 at home. The victory provides a major lifeline for the Snow Leopards, who moved up to ninth position to reignite their hopes of avoiding relegation. Ahteeb Ahmad Dar and Oinam Sanatomba Singh scored the goal for Real Kashmir FC.

A brief look at the table

After the first phase comes to an end in the Indian Football League (IFL) 2025-26 season, the current scenario is that the top six teams will battle it out for the next season’s ISL promotion. And the rest of the four will fight for their existence in the relegation round. Diamond Harbour FC topped the group with 20 points in hand, followed by Shillong Lajong FC, Sreenidi Deccan FC, Rajasthan United FC, Chanmari FC and Dempo SC wrote their names in the promotion race in the IFL 2025-26.
The remaining four teams, Namdhari FC, Real Kashmir FC, Gokulam Kerala FC and Aizawl FC, will now feature in the next relegation round of the IFL. AIFF didn’t announce the next fixture yet.
