Gokulam Kerala FC have announced the signing of their newest attacking firehouse as they have roped in a Brazilian striker, Crislan Henrique da Silva de Sousa, ahead of the new Indian Football League (IFL) season.
The Brazilian signed a one-year contract with the Malabarians ahead of the new season, as the signing of Crislan Henrique has strengthened their team and also their attacking options as he is expected to play an important role in Gokulam Kerala’s attacking half.
With this signing of Crislan, they look to turn the tables as Gokulam Kerala didn’t show that much promise in the last IFL season, as they fell very short against good sides as the Malabarians are now heading into the new season with a different motive to win the league, as they have also appointed Carlos Eduardo Parreira as their new head coach.

Gokulam Kerala strengthen attack with Brazilian forward
Gokulam Kerala FC have announced the signing of Crislan through their official social media as they welcome the Samba boy and describe him as an experienced forward who will join to lead their attack with the message of “experience, power, and goals”.
Talking about the player, Crislan Henrique da Silva de Sousa is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a natural forward and was born and brought up in Teresina, Brazil and made his youth career start in 2012, making his debut with a Brazilian football club.
Playing for the Brazilian football club, he also joined the Fluminense youth academy. He played for various Brazilian clubs, which indicates that Crislan Henrique da Silva de Sousa has immense experience in the different divisions of the Brazilian League alongside the Portuguese League, as in 2015 he signed a 5-year-long deal with SC Braga.
His career includes UEFA Europa League appearances for Braga, where he scored once in five appearances. He also featured in the CONMEBOL Libertadores during his time with Athletico Paranaense.
