IFL 2026-27: Updated points table, most goals after Dempo SC vs Bengaluru United
Dempo & Sreenidi Deccan clinch the victories on Sunday
The opening Matchweek of the Indian Football League 2026-27 season concluded tonight with a double-header. Rajasthan United hosted Sreenidi Deccan in Jaipur earlier in the day, with Sreenidi winning by a solitary goal.
In Goa, five-time national champions Dempo SC welcomed debutants Bengaluru United at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Margao, with Dempo also winning the game 1-0 following a late winner.
Nallappan Mohanraj’s side, captained by Lalramdinsanga Ralte, was making their first appearance in the top flight. Dempo finished sixth in last season’s Championship Round. The sides had met twice in I-League 2 in 2023-24, with Bengaluru United winning 1-0 in Goa and Dempo winning 2-1 in Bengaluru, so tonight’s game was a chance to break that tie.
Let’s take a closer look at how the IFL points table has changed after this game.
