23-member India U17 men's team squad announced for Myanmar friendlies

India U17 men’s team will face Myanmar U17 on 3rd & 5th March in Yangon
The India U17 men’s team are set to gear up for two international friendlies against Myanmar national under-17 football team in Yangon.
A 23-member squad has been announced for the matches, as the Blue Colts prepare to take charge against their Myanmar counterparts in the upcoming double-header.
The India U17 men’s team are preparing for the AFC U17 Asian Cup and has already played four international friendly matches. Two matches were played previously as Blue Tigers took on Tajikistan and Türkiye. Under the guidance of Bibiano Fernandes, India will look to carry confidence and belief into the tournament.
India gets ready for the continental challenge ahead

Drawn in Group D of the AFC U17 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026, India U17 men’s team will face Australia, Uzbekistan and DPR Korea.
As this is the preparation for the continental stage, India has announced the 23-member squad for the rest of the two friendlies on 3 and 5 March 2026.
Like India, Myanmar has also qualified for the AFC Asian Cup. They topped Group C in the qualifiers, as in the main stage they were drawn with Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and Tajikistan, making up Group A.
