Fans took to social media to express their disappointment on Indian football team.

India’s second match in the Intercontinental Cup against Syria, held at the Gachibowli Stadium, left fans utterly disappointed and frustrated. The 3-0 defeat, with Syria scoring their third goal in the dying minutes of the match, sealed a bitter night for the Indian supporters.

There were no positive factors from India’s performance, as they failed to find the back of the net and showed a lack of energy and fight across the field.

No Positives to Take Away

Fans quickly turned to social media, especially X (formerly Twitter), to express their anger and frustration. Many felt that India’s performance had nothing positive to offer, with some criticizing the players for lacking energy and fight from the players.

Criticism of Players Performance

Fans were very vocal about the player’s poor showing. There was a lot of criticism for the team’s lack of intensity, with many pointing out how the players appeared weak and unmotivated during the game. The inability to make effective passes or create any real chances to score left the fans very frustrated.

About Manolo Márquez

This was also coach Manolo Márquez’s second game leading the Indian football team, but fans are already growing impatient with the Spaniard. After failing to win his debut game, the pressure was already high, and this loss to Syria only made things worse. Fans are disappointed that the coach hasn’t shown any noticeable improvements to the team yet.
