Calm and composed between the sticks, Tiwari played a key role for the Gaurs throughout the campaign.  As Hrithik clinched the ISL Golden Glove, with five clean sheets, 25 saves, and around 900 minutes to his name this season.

But the topic is all about the goalkeepers with the most saves this season, and Chennaiyin FC’s last line of defence stood tall between the posts. Mohammad Nawaz topped the list with 39 saves, the highest by any goalkeeper in the ISL 2025-26 season.

Alongside Nawaz, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Nora Fernandes, and Gurmeet Singh also find themselves. Despite playing for a struggling Mohammedan SC side, Padam Chettri emerged as a bright spot, registering an impressive 34 saves during the season.

He saved 32 shots designated for his goal as he played 1080 minutes for NorthEast United FC. The Highlanders finished ninth on the ISL table as they conceded 21 goals.

Despite that, Gurmeet stood tall in the post, saving the team’s important points in the ISL 2025-26 season.

4. Nora Fernandes – SC Delhi

With a struggling side of Mohammedan SC, who had various kinds of problems in their hands, Padam Chettri, the goalkeeper rised from the ashes as he also made his name in the list.

It was not a good campaign for Padam with the gloves despite being on this list, as Mohammedan SC faced relegation and are set to play in IFL from next season.

With a vulnerable defensive setup in front of him, Padam Chettri still emerged as one of the team’s standout performers.

Despite playing only around 810 minutes, he registered 34 saves and produced impressive numbers, making an immediate impact whenever he was on the pitch. He also managed to keep one clean sheet during his stint.

2. Gurpreet Singh Sandhu – Bengaluru FC

The veteran Bengaluru FC goalkeeper earns his place on this list thanks to another impressive ISL campaign, showcasing the vast experience he has accumulated over the years. Gurpreet Singh Sandhu recorded 38 saves, the second-highest tally in the league, while keeping five clean sheets for the Blues.

Featuring for around 1,170 minutes, he remained a commanding presence between the posts and once again proved his quality and consistency. As the oldest goalkeeper on this list, Sandhu continues to set the standard with his performances season after season.

Chennaiyin FC finished this ISL season at 13th place on the table, indicating their overall bad performances in every single aspect.

But Mohammad Nawaz ultimately claimed the top spot on the ISL 2025-26 saves chart, finishing the season with a league-leading 39 saves.

The goalkeeper stood tall throughout the campaign, making several crucial interventions for his side. His consistency and excellent shot-stopping ability helped him edge past the competition and emerge as the goalkeeper with the most saves in ISL 12.

With Chennaiyin FC’s defensive line struggling to find consistency this season, Nawaz needed to shoulder even greater responsibility at the back. His composure and distribution from the back have played a vital role in helping the team outplay opposition defences.
