It hasn’t been an ideal start for Juan Pedro Benali’s side. They faced a defeat in their first game and have played three back-to-back 1-1 draws in the buildup to this fixture.

The Highlanders return home after a very long delay and will be hopeful to make it count. They are still in hunt of their first win having remained winless in all of their four league stage fixtures so far.

NorthEast United are ranked tenth on the standings with three points to their name.
