Jamshedpur FC eye getting back to winning ways as they take on SC Delhi in ISL 2025-26

Jamshedpur FC suffered their first ISL 2025-26 defeat against the Highlanders in their last game.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi gears up to host the Matchweek 6 fixtures of the Indian Super League (ISL), where the home team SC Delhi lock horns with Jamshedpur FC on 19th March at 7.30 PM.

SC Delhi are coming after a 2-2 draw against Mumbai City FC and would be eying their first win of the season. Jamshedpur FC, on the other hand, are just a point behind table toppers Mohun Bagan SG, and they would love to get back to winning ways in the national capital.

Sporting Club Delhi began their ISL campaign with three consecutive defeats to Bengaluru, East Bengal FC and FC Goa.

They clinched their first point of the campaign after playing a 2-2 thrilling draw against Mumbai City in their most recent encounter.

They are led by Polish gaffer Tomas Tchorz, who previously served as the managerial helm of Kerala Blasters FC.

All eyes will be on Matija Babovic and Lalrochana to lead the attacking unit of Delhi to get the better of Jamshedpur’s defence.

The Red Miners lost a golden opportunity to make it to the top of the ISL table after succumbing to a 2-1 defeat to NorthEast United FC in the previous game.

Jamshedpur FC have some fond memories in the national capital, including that 4-0 win over Punjab FC in one of their last visits to Delhi.

The attacking unit of JFC, including the likes of Raphael Messi Bouli, Sanan and Manvir Singh, is yet to score an open goal this season.

The defense has, however, been brilliant, and they already got the better of Delhi in the preseason friendlies.

The Brazilian Centre back has plied his trade with several clubs in the Brazilian topflight, such as Vitoria, Fluminense, and Chapecoense.

He has been a dominating presence in the back for SC Delhi and has also found his name in the scoresheet.

He will be tasked with the responsibility of keeping Raphael Messi Bouli and Sanan quiet in the next game as they eye their first clean sheet of the tournament after conceding goals in every game.

They have an average of conceding over 2 goals in every game.

Pratik Chaudhari (Jamshedpur FC)

Pratik has been a towering presence in the Jamshedpur defense alongside Stephen Eze since last season. Given how Eze is generally involved in counterattacks and creating set pieces, Pratik’s role behind the back becomes much more crucial.

Jamshedpur have kept three clean sheets so far, and all of them have come at home. Pratik is one of the veteran defenders in the ISL, and his experience will be key for Jamshedpur as they aim for nothing less than all three points in the upcoming game against SC Delhi.
