Edmund, Sandesh Jhingan and Manvir Singh all made their names in the list
The 2025-26 Indian Super League (ISL) is finally up and running after a long delay. We are done and dusted with the third matchweek, and Khel Now is back with another analysis of the Indian football team players. This time, the names of the top ten Indian players have been listed below.
This report has been prepared based on the Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 Match Week 3 to keep a track of the players’ performance while keeping an eye on the upcoming international assignments.
The top ten players of this week are
Aakash Sangwan – 8.5 (vs SC Delhi)

Aakash Sangwan was the best Indian player this week. He stood strong at the left back position and contributed on both ends of the pitch.
Sangwan made three clearances while winning four ground duels and two aerial duels. He executed three key passes and also racked up an assist in the process.
Sandesh Jhingan – 8 (vs SC Delhi)

Sandesh Jhingan was solid in the heart of FC Goa’s defense. Jhingan made two clearances and blocks each along with one ball recovery.
He also won three aerial duels and executed 98% of his passes to perfection. Additionally, he maintained a passing precision of 96% in the opposition box.
Manvir Singh – 7.5 (vs Mohammedan SC)

Manvir Singh found the back of the net for the first time this season as Mohun Bagan walked away with a classic 5-1 win over Mohammedan SC in the Kolkata derby.
Singh attempted three shots on goal and scored one goal in the process. He completed almost 80% of his passes while executing one key pass while making five ball recoveries.
Tekcham Abhishek Singh – 7 (vs Mohammedan SC)

The left back also had a superb outing for Mohun Bagan in the Kolkata derby. Abhishek Singh kept things pretty tight at the back and also made overlapping runs to help out his teammates up front.
Abhishek put in a wonderful cross into the box with his right foot and found Manvir Singh who netted it past the keeper.
Jithin MS – 7.5 (vs Mumbai City FC)

Jithin MS produced an impressive performance on the pitch for NorthEast United against Mumbai City FC. The left winger used his pace to trouble the Islanders and created a few key chances in the process.
He was on point with his dribbling and attacking instinct and also scored the opening goal for the Highlanders in the process.
Lallianzuala Chhangte – 7 (vs NorthEast United FC)

Lallianzuala Chhangte came to Mumbai City FC’s rescue yet again. The Skipper came up with a very late equaliser against NorthEast United when his side were 0-1 down.
He found himself at the right place at the right time and headed the ball into the net. He has now single handedly rescued four out of five points for Petr Kratky’s side this season.
Anirudh Thapa – 7 (vs Mohammedan SC)

Anirudh Thapa continues to impress in the middle of the park. Thapa has already racked up a couple of assists and is also leading the charts. He put up another hardworking and creative performance in the middle of the park for Mohun Bagan last week.
He split backlines with his line breaking passes and completed 89% of his passes in the process. Moreover, he executed three key passes.
Manglenthang Kipgen – 7 (vs Bengaluru FC)

Kipgen was a livewire on the right flank for Punjab FC. He stood his ground and created multiple chances against Bengaluru’s rigid backline and registered an assist in the process.
The 20-year-old put in a pinpoint cross into the box for Nsungusi Effiong to score the opener for the Shers. He completed 79% of his passes and executed two key passes as well.
Khaiminthang Lhungdim – 7.5 (vs Bengaluru FC)

The right back put in a performance worthy of a mention at the right back position for Punjab FC. He contained all the pressure from Bengaluru FC’s star studded attacking lineup and did not let them pass through him.
Lhungdim made seven ball recoveries, three clearances while winning the majority of his ground and aerial duels. He also tried his luck on goal but ended up hitting the woodwork.
Edmund Lalrindika – 7.5 (vs Jamshedpur FC)

Edmund Lalrindika found the back of the net yet again for East Bengal, but this time in a losing cause. The forward displayed his poaching skills in the last game along with his perfect movements off the ball.
Bipin Singh found Edmund through a cross from the left flank and the striker stepped away from his marker and made no mistake in smashing into the back of the net.
