Anwar Ali, Rahim Ali and Sandesh Jhingan all made their names in the list.

The 2025-26 Indian Super League (ISL) is finally up and running after a long delay. We are done and dusted with the sixth gameweek, and Khel Now is back with another analysis of the Indian football team’s players. This time, the names of the top ten Indian players have been listed below. 

This report has been prepared based on the Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 Game Week 6 to keep track of the players’ performance while keeping an eye on the upcoming international assignments. 

The top ten players of this week are:

Anwar Ali – 10/10 (vs Mohammedan SC)

Anwar Ali for East Bengal In the ISL

Anwar Ali was the best Indian player across the game, which is why he has received a perfect 10/10 rating. Ali found the back of the net twice as East Bengal wrapped up a historic 7-0 win at home.

He also racked up an assist and registered three goal contributions in total. Anwar made nine ball recoveries while maintaining a passing accuracy of 83%, including three key passes.

Rahul KP – 9/10 (vs NorthEast United FC)

Rahul KP shocked an in-form NorthEast United with his heroics up front. He led the charge for Odisha FC away from home and helped them secure a reassuring 1-4 victory in Guwahati.

The winger used his pace and trickery to get the better of the opposition defenders and got his name on the scoresheet twice in the process.

P N Noufal – 8/10 (vs Mohun Bagan SG)

P N Noufal continues to shine in the colours of Mumbai City FC. This is his third consecutive appearance in the best Indian players list.

Noufal was on fire yet again for the Islanders and secured three crucial points for his side against a mighty Mohun Bagan. The left winger linked up with Joni Kauko and scored the winning goal which propelled Mumbai City FC to the top of the table. 

Rahim Ali – 8/10 (vs NorthEast United FC)

Rahim Ali led the line with perfection for Odisha FC against NorthEast United. He linked up really well with Rahul KP and inspired the Juggernauts to their first win of the season.

Ali first set up Rahul KP for the opening goal and then set up Subham Bhattacharya with a header, and racked up two assists in the process. He created two big chances, both of which ended up in the back of the net.

Phurba Lachenpa – 8/10 (vs Mohun Bagan)

Phurba Lachenpa put up a performance worthy of a mention under the bar against Mohun Bagan. The keeper stopped everything that came in his way and denied Bagan’s star-studded lineup from scoring a single goal.

Lachenpa pulled off six massive saves, including three saves from inside the box and one punchout. He used his awareness and flexibility to neutralise the danger from the opponent strikers.

PV Vishnu – 8/10 (vs Mohammedan SC)

PV Vishnu was seen in a new role for East Bengal in the last game. He was used as a left back, and he came up with a commendable performance. Vishnu made three defensive contributions along with six ball recoveries.

He tried four shots, out of which two were on target, and one ended up in the back of the net. Overall, it was an all-round performance from the player, which helped his side win the game. 

Naorem Mahesh Singh – 8/10 (vs Mohammedan SC)

Naorem Mahesh Singh came off the bench and worked wonders for East Bengal. He changed the tempo of the game with his creativity and vision and turned the game into a one-sided affair.

Mahesh maintained a passing accuracy of 89% while executing seven key passes to perfection. He created one big chance and also created an assist up front. 

Sandesh Jhingan – 8/10 (vs Chennaiyin FC)

Sandesh Jhingan stood tall like a wall in the heart of FC Goa’s backline. He made five defensive contributions, including three clearances, one block and two ball recoveries.

Jhingan won all of his aerial duels and maintained a passing accuracy of 86%. He not only denied the opposition strikers from scoring a goal, but Jhingan also rescued a point for his side with an important equaliser at the very end.

Nandakumar Sekhar – 7.5/10 (vs Mohammedan SC)

Nandakumar Sekhar was subbed in during the second half, and he made an impact in just the 25 minutes that he played.

The forward scored the seventh goal for his side in the 97th minute and put the final nail in the coffin for Mohammedan Sporting. Nanda completed 10/11 passes and executed one key pass. He registered two shots on target and hit the woodwork once. 

Ashique Kuruniyan – 7/10 (vs Inter Kashi FC)

Ashique Kuruniyan found the back of the net in Bengaluru FC’s away win against Inter Kashi. The left winger broke the deadlock for the Blues with a left-footed shot that went straight into the top corner.

Kuruniyan could’ve scored another goal, but the keeper made a brilliant save to deny him. He also tracked back to help out the defenders and made six ball recoveries in the process.
