Bengaluru FC thrashed Inter Kashi FC as visitors

Sunday’s opening game witnessed Chennaiyin FC share spoils with FC Goa following a 1-1 draw at the Marina Arena in the Indian Super League 2025-26 season. Brison Fernandes brought Mohammad Nawaz into action early in the game before Maheson Singh tested Hritik Tiwari. Irfan Yadwad broke the deadlock three minutes into the second half, and then Sandesh Jhingan equalised right at the end for the Gaurs.

The second game witnessed Bengaluru FC’s match-winning performance against Inter Kashi away from home. The Blues started brilliantly with Ashique Kuruniyan finding the back of the net before Alfred Planas equalised 18 minutes later. Braian Sánchez scored in the 69th minute and then put the game to rest with a 98th-minute screamer from outside the box.

A brief look at the ISL 2025-26 points table

Mumbai City FC retained the top position with 14 points, while Mohun Bagan SG have not moved from second with thirteen points. Jamshedpur FC took the third position with thirteen points, and Bengaluru FC were promoted to the fourth spot following a win tonight. FC Goa have dropped down to the fifth position. East Bengal FC complete the top six with eight points.

Punjab FC took the seventh spot with eight points. NorthEast United hold the eighth spot with six points. Odisha FC are still placed ninth, while Chennaiyin FC and Inter Kashi take the tenth and eleventh spot respectively. SC Delhi continues to take the 12th position. Kerala Blasters are ranked 13th on the standings, and Mohammedan Sporting still find themselves at the bottom of the table.
