The Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 season is beginning to take an exciting turn as the league slowly gets its shape. After returning from the International break, the stakes are high as all the teams have played their six matches in the group stage. As many teams are still looking for the rhythm and momentum to get their foot into the league, Mumbai City FC find themselves top of the table.

After the break, Punjab FC hosted Mohammedan SC at their home, where the Black Panthers took the early lead but didn’t win the match. Punjab scored two second-half goals as they sealed the three points at home. Mohammeddan SC are still searching for its first win in the ISL.

After six matches in the ISL, Mumbai City FC lead the standings with 14 points with four wins and two draws l, which shows they are unbeaten in the league. The fight for the playoff position is already heating up, as East Bengal, Punjab FC and Bengaluru FC all have 11 points under their belt. Each of them showed flashes of brilliance but has also struggled sometimes.

FC Goa stands still at the seventh position with 10 points. Northeast United, Odisha FC, Chennaiyin and Inter Kashi FC still find their best form to accelerate their season.

Lastly, Mohammedan SC, Kerala Blasters and SC Delhi are yet to secure a single win in the ISL.
