Mumbai City FC become the league leaders of ISL 2025-26

Odisha FC finally secured their first win of the ISL 2025-26 season and got the better of NorthEast United in Guwahati in today’s first match.

Rahul KP broke the deadlock with just six minutes into the match before Macarton equalized for the home side. Subham Bhattacharya put Odisha FC in the lead before Rahul added another goal. Macarton also scored an own goal as the Juggernauts wrapped up a 1-4 win away from home.

The second game witnessed a classic game between Mohun Bagan SG and Mumbai City FC. The Islanders brought an end to Bagan’s flawless run and handed them their first defeat of the season.

P N Noufal scored for the third consecutive game and handed his side a memorable win in Kolkata. The Mariners tried their level best to find the back of the net, but Phurba Lachenpa stood tall for the visitors.

Mumbai City FC have jumped to the peak of the standings following tonight’s win. Mohun Bagan SG have dropped down to second with thirteen points while Jamshedpur FC take the third position with thirteen points.

FC Goa hold the fourth position and East Bengal FC remain at fifth with eight points. Bengaluru FC take the sixth spot with eight points.

NorthEast United FC retained the seventh spot with six points while Punjab FC have moved to tenth. Odisha FC have been promoted eighth after a win today while Inter Kashi and Chennaiyin FC take the ninth and eleventh spot respectively.

SC Delhi continues to take the 12th position. Kerala Blasters are ranked 13th on the standings and Mohammedan Sporting still find themselves at the bottom of the table.
