Mohun Bagan SG remains the table topper of ISL 2025-26

FC Goa were held to a 1-1 draw by Punjab FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. Muhammed Uvais came up with the first chances of the game, but Hritik Tiwari had his angles covered.

Effiong Nsungusi broke the deadlock a few minutes later and put his side in the lead with his fourth Indian Super League (ISL) goal this season.

Hritik Tiwari made a couple of quick saves and denied Dani Ramirez and Effiong Nsungusi from scoring another goal.

The Gaurs tried their luck on a goal with a few attempts, but couldn’t make it. Punjab FC were reduced to ten men as Effiong Nsungusi was shown a straight red card and FC Goa equalized in no time with Dejan Drazic scoring with a shot from outside the box.

Mohun Bagan SG are still at the top with thirteen points while Jamshedpur FC take the second position with twelve points. Mumbai City FC are ranked third with eleven points while FC Goa have jumped up to the fourth position and East Bengal FC have dropped down to fifth with eight points. Bengaluru FC take the sixth spot with eight points.

NorthEast United remained at seventh with six points while Punjab FC have been promoted to eight. Inter Kashi have dropped down to ninth with five points and Chennaiyin FC take the tenth spot.

Odisha FC took the 11th spot and 12th position was held by Kerala Blasters. SC Delhi are ranked 13th on the standings and Mohammedan Sporting still find themselves at the bottom of the table.

  • Jamie Maclaren (Mohun Bagan SG) – 7 goals
  • Youssef Ezzejjari (East Bengal) – 5 goals
  • Dejan Drazic (FC Goa) – 4 goals
  • Effiong Nsungusi (Punjab FC) – 4 goals
  • Lallianzuala Chhangte (Mumbai City FC) – 3 goals

Players with the most assists after matchday 21 of ISL 2025-26:

  • Anirudh Thapa (Mohun Bagan SG) – 2 assists
  • Liston Colaco (Mohun Bagan SG) – 2 assists
  • Subhasish Bose (Mohun Bagan SG) – 2 assists
  • Madih Talal (Jamshedpur FC) – 2 assists
  • Nikhil Poojary (Bengaluru FC) – 2 assists
