Chennaiyin FC vs Kerala Blasters FC Live: Confirmed lineups & pre-match updates for ISL 2026-27 clash

The must-watch fixture in matchweek 4 of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2026-27 season will see Southern rivals Kerala Blasters travel to play Chennaiyin FC at the Marina Arena.

The Marina Machans have already lost to their other Southern counterparts, Bengaluru FC; hence, this will be a must-win fixture in the eyes of their supporters.

Kerala Blasters, on the other hand, will have the backing of their travelling fans in Chennai as the two teams lock horns at 5:00 pm on Saturday.

Clifford Miranda’s side started their campaign with a 1-1 draw against FC Goa but the 2-0 loss to Bengaluru FC brought morale down amongst their supporters. Though they lost 1-0 to Mohun Bagan on Monday, Chennaiyin dominated the Mariners throughout the game; however, they couldn’t take their chances.

It has been ages since Chennaiyin FC got a strong start to their ISL campaign, and this season is no exception. Goalscoring seems to be the biggest challenge for the Marina Machans, and if they are able to correct this, Chennai will certainly dominate the game in front of their home supporters.

Kerala Blasters

Kerala Blasters travel to Chennai to play against the Marina Machans.

Ashley Westwood’s side started their ISL campaign with a win over Inter Kashi. However, a 4-1 loss to NorthEast United and a goalless draw against Mumbai City have somewhat halted Kerala’s momentum. The Blasters are currently 6th in the ISL 2026-27 points table, and a win will propel them towards the top four.

While KBFC will be charged up for this Southern derby, a lack of pre-season might hurt them as the game progresses. Expect the Blasters to play on the counter as Chennaiyin will likely hold the ball for the majority of the match.

Team News

Chennaiyin FC: Glan Martins, Maheson Singh, and Vignesh Dakshnimamurthy are on the injury list.

Kerala Blasters: Bikash Yumnam is injured and will be unavailable on Saturday.
