The Stakes
Mumbai City FC
The Islanders sit 8th on the ISL points table.Under their new head coach Manolo Marquez, Mumbai City FC have been nothing short of disappointing in their 3 games. Mumbai City started their season off with a 2-1 loss against Churchill Brothers in Goa, where their only goal was from a Penalty scored by Sergio Llamas in the 95th minute of the game.

In their most recent match against Chennaiyin FC, Mumbai seemed to struggle during the entire game, as the Marina Machans completely dominated the full 90 minutes. The Centre-back pairing of Lazar Ćirković and Carlos Delgado was Mumbai’s only saving grace, as the Chennaiyin came close to scoring on multiple occasions.
