Both Gurpreet Singh Sandhu and Amrinder Singh had a good day at the office in the ISL clash.

Playoff aspirants Bengaluru FC played out a 0-0 draw against ISL Shield aspirants Odisha FC at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru this evening. Both teams needed 3 points to push for their objective. Unfortunately, the result meant that both the team’s road to their target will now depend on various other permutations and combinations.

Gerard Zarogaza dropped captain Sunil Chhetri on the bench as well as started the duo of Shankar Sampingiraj and Chinglensana Singh in the heart of the defense. The Blues kept a clean sheet against the free-flowing Odisha FC side but failed to put the ball past the net despite playing three foreigners in the offensive quartet.

On the other hand, Sergio Lobera’s Odisha FC started Roy Krishna up top and benched Diego Mauricio but the experiment didn’t yield any fruits as the Juggernauts were left frustrated with the result.

The race for the ISL shield and place for playoffs will go right down the wire and the teams who will be able to hold on to their nerves and produce consistent results for the last few will get the prized asset. Consequently, let us look at the stats from the game.
