Currently there is a tight race unfolding, with the top five teams separated by just six points, while the next six teams are closely trailing with a mere four-point difference between them.

Chennaiyin FC have not been in good form this ISL season. Their journey has been a roller-coaster ride with defeats worrying Owen Coyle throughout the tournament. Although there is still a ray of hope for Chennaiyin FC’s qualification in the next round of ISL.

The crucial objective for Chennaiyin will be to grab victory in all the remaining fixtures. Grabbing full points from their remaining four encounters will take them to 27 points. Chennaiyin FC’s next four fixtures are against Mohun Bagan Super Giant, Jamshedpur FC, NorthEast United FC, and FC Goa on 31 March, 4 April, 9 April, and 14 April respectively. The work in their hand will be very difficult with top teams Mohun Bagan and FC Goa standing as a rock in front of them.
