The Indian Super League (ISL) has always been a big stage for the players who offered great individual performances.

If we talk about foreign players who played in the ISL, scoring in their debut is special, but scoring a brace is always more special.

On Monday, in the ISL 2025-26 season, the new signing of East Bengal FC, Youssef Ezzejjari, scored a brace against NorthEast United FC in a 3-0 win adding his name to this elite list, where foreigners got their double debut delight in ISL.

6. Ivan Kalyuzhnyi

In the 2022-23 ISL opener, Ukrainian star Ivan Kalyuzhnyi made his name in the list of those who scored a brace in their debut. After coming off the bench for Kerala Blasters FC, he bagged a brace in a win against East Bengal FC.

Ivan was substituted at the 80th minute and went on to score his debut goal for the Tuskers within two minutes. At the 89th minute, Ivan again found the opponent’s net and bagged the brace.

5. Tuncay Sanli

Tuncay Sahil made an unforgettable start to life in the ISL, scoring a brilliant brace on his debut in the 2015 season. The Turkish forward wasted no time in making an impact, finding the back of the net in just the 12th minute to give Pune an early lead at their home.

Despite being the equalizer for Mumbai City FC, Tuncay scored again, which went on to seal a convincing win for them.

He was the heartbeat of every team he played for, leading with passion, pride, and an unbreakable spirit.

In the 2016 season, in his debut for Delhi Dynamos, he broke the deadlock in the 26th minute against Chennaiyin FC. Marcelinho was the true playmaker for Delhi in the season.

In his debut, after scoring the first goal, Chennaiyin got the better of them and bagged the equalizer. After that, two minutes later, the magician scored another to go on to seal the victory.

3. Igor Angulo

Igor Angulo shined bright on his first ISL appearance, scoring two goals against Bengaluru FC at the Fatorda.The Gaurs were 0-2 down till the 65th minute courtesy of Cleiton Silva and Juanan’s goals.

However, a three-minute brace by the Spanish forward changed the dimension of the game within an eyelash, salvaging a crucial point for the hosts.

Helder Postiga is one of the most iconic players who ever played in the Indian Super League. As an ATK player, in his debut, Postiga scored a brace.

The former Portuguese international, who had experience playing in the FIFA World Cup in 2006 and UEFA Euro qualifiers 2014-15, opened the scoreline at 13th minute. After the goal, Chennaiyin FC levelled up. But he bagged another one in the 70th minute playing the crucial role in their victory.

Youssef Ezzejari, who scored a beautiful brace on his debut as Red and Gold brigade claimed a 3-0 win over the Highlanders and got to the top of the table. As his goal last Monday, he will be featured in this list as a new inclusion.

From the left, Bipin Singh was very good with those crosses. In the 65th minute, Vipin Singh delivered a cross from the left as Youssef Ezzejari headed to score his first. After this, he bagged the brace with the assist from substitute Edmund.
