ISL 2023-24: Top five game-changers so far

Kerala Blasters forward Dimitrios Diamantakos has made 15 goal contributions including 12 goals and three assists which is the highest in the entire ISL this season.
The 10th edition of the Indian Super League (ISL) has been a competitive affair with 11 out of 12 teams still in contention for the playoffs with just a few weeks to go for the season finale. It has been an entertaining and astonishing journey so far in the Indian top flight.
While a few clubs have turned things around big time this season, Hyderabad FC are the only side who are well and truly out of the playoffs race this season. It has been a season to watch out for with a few players taking the stage in making things happen for their sides.
On that note, let us take a look at the top five game-changers in ISL 2023-24 till now.
5. Jeremy Manzorro (Jamshedpur FC)
Jeremy Manzorro has stepped up and become Jamshedpur FC’s messiah a lot of times this season. He has become an unstoppable force under Khalid Jamil and has had a massive impact on the team. Manzorro has scored five goals since the turn of the year, including two late match-winning goals for the Red Miners. His consistency, leadership, and work rate make him an even more important player for his side.
4. Vikram Partap Singh (Mumbai City FC)
Vikram Partap Singh has climbed to up to a whole new level this season. The forward has surpassed all expectations and has stepped up big-time for the Islanders. He is the leading Indian goalscorer in the ISL this season with seven goals and two assists to his name. The Indian international took the goal-scoring responsibilities on his shoulders during the absence of Jorge Pereyra Diaz and Iker Guarrotxena. He has recorded his best-ever tally in the league with nine-goal contributions in 18 games so far this season.
3. Dimitri Petratos (Mohun Bagan Super Giant)
The forward from down under has been Mohun Bagan’s best player over the last couple of seasons. Petratos can turn the games on its head and has done that quite a few times ever since his arrival in India. He is an all-round package for the Mariners. He is an excellent playmaker, a proven goalscorer, and a consistent performer for his side. He has made eleven goal contributions for his side this season, including eight goals and three assists.
2. Madih Talal (Punjab FC)
Madih Talal has made it to the headlines for his actions on the pitch for Punjab FC. The French midfielder is leading the charts for providing the most number of assists this season (8). His creativity coupled with his vision is what makes him a standout player among the rest. Talal always has an eye for goal and has scored four goals in the process. Moreover, he also has the most number of goal contributions for Punjab FC (12).

The Greek attacker has been the most influential player in the league this season. Despite missing out on a few games in the first half of the season, Diamantakos has played a crucial role in Kerala Blasters’ success this season. Dimitris is a poacher and is known for his goalscoring and finishing abilities while maintaining consistency throughout the campaign. He has made 15 goal contributions including 12 goals and three assists which is the highest in the entire ISL this season.
