Mumbai City FC moved one step closer to the ISL shield with this victory.

Mumbai City FC hammered all Indian Hyderabad FC 3-0 and strengthened their position at the summit of the Indian Super League table. With this win, the Islanders have a five-point cushion at the top with a game more against Mohun Bagan.

Hyderabad FC who are already having a worse season will just want the season to end at this point. Indian forward Lallianzuala Chhangte scored the first goal while defender Mehtab Singh doubled the lead for the City Football group side. 

The final blow was hit by talismanic striker Jorge Pererya Diaz who calmly converted the penalty in the last minute of the game to put the game into rest.
