Both players are important members of Mumbai City’s ISL squad.
Mumbai City FC have confirmed that forwards Ayush Chhikara and Iker Guarrotxena have both sustained knee injuries during recent matches against FC Goa and Punjab FC, respectively. Unfortunately, these injuries will result in both players missing the remainder of the ISL season.
Ayush Chhikara played an integral role in Mumbai City FC’s Kalinga Super Cup campaign, scoring three goals in four appearances during the tournament.
Iker Guarrotxena, the Spanish attacker who joined the Islanders squad during the winter transfer window, has been a key contributor in the team’s recent matches, scoring three goals and providing two assists in the last six games.
In light of these challenges, the club stands steadfastly behind Ayush and Iker, offering support in their recovery journeys and wishes both players a speedy return to full fitness.
