Inter Kashi FC vs Odisha FC Player Ratings: Thoi, Eze impress in ISL 2026-27 match
Thoi Singh’s late strike earns Inter Kashi a 1-1 draw and their first point of ISL 2026-27 in Pune
Some substitutions change the course of a football match. On Saturday, Inter Kashi FC head coach Carlos Vaz Pinto made one such change, bringing on Thoi Singh for captain Sumit Passi in the 66th minute.
Thoi’s first involvement came within seconds. Getting on his scooter, he darted behind the Odisha FC backline, drove into the box and squared the ball for an onrushing teammate. Although Hrithik Tiwari gathered the pass, there was a sense that the momentum was shifting.
Until then, Inter Kashi had been coming to terms with falling behind. The hosts had looked threatening in the opening half through Rosenberg Gabriel, Manvir Singh, Hitesh Sharma and Passi, but had nothing to show for their efforts.
Ten minutes into the second half, they were trailing. Stephen Eze rose to meet Puitea’s inswinging corner and headed it across goal. Pratik Chowdhary could do little as the ball bounced off him and into his own net.
Then came Inter Kashi’s substitutions and a shift in momentum. The hosts upped the ante in search of an equaliser and finally found it in the 89th minute.
Aphaoba, introduced a few minutes earlier, delivered a free-kick that Eze could only clear to the edge of the box. Thoi met the loose ball with a thunderous volley, smashing it home before wheeling away in celebration.
Odisha FC head coach TG Purushothaman rued his side being a man down for the set-piece, while accepting that such moments are part of football.
For Inter Kashi, it was a well-deserved point at their new home, their first in the Indian Super League 2026-27.
Here are the Inter Kashi FC player ratings from their 1-1 draw with Odisha FC in ISL 2026-27.
Inter Kashi Ratings (By Amol Gokhale)
Catch Every Update, Anytime, Anywhere
Albino Gomes (7/10)

Commanding in his box, Gomes dealt well with the efforts that came his way. Could do little about Odisha FC’s opener.
Sajad Hussain (6/10)
Replaced Aritra Das in the starting XI at left-back and justified his selection with his willingness to get forward. Made way for Das around the hour mark.
Nishchal Chandan (6/10)
A composed presence alongside Pratik Chowdhary, Chandan helped keep Inter Kashi’s backline organised and dealt steadily with Odisha’s attacks.
Pratik Chowdhary (6/10)
Unfortunate to concede the own goal, with little time to react as Eze’s header bounced off him. Otherwise, the experienced defender brought composure to Inter Kashi’s backline.
Laldinliana Renthlei (6/10)
Tasked with keeping India international Rahim Ali quiet, Renthlei largely succeeded. A disciplined defensive display made it a solid outing.

Wayne Vaz (6/10)
Another steady performance at the base of Inter Kashi’s three-man midfield. Screened his defence and helped the hosts retain control in central areas.
Jitendra Singh (7.5/10)
Provided a creative outlet with his accurate distribution, diagonal passes and well-timed runs into the box. Alongside Hitesh Sharma, he helped dictate play for the hosts.
Hitesh Sharma (7.5/10)

Made good use of the freedom to operate between Odisha’s lines. Combined effectively with Jitendra, with their late runs into the box posing problems for the visitors.
Sumit Passi (5/10)
A quiet evening for the Inter Kashi captain on the right flank. Struggled to exert a sustained influence and made way for Thoi Singh in the 66th minute.
Rosenberg Gabriel (7/10)
A livewire down the left, Gabriel repeatedly troubled Odisha’s defence. His end product could have been better, but it was an encouraging display given Inter Kashi’s limited preparation.
Manvir Singh (6.5/10)
Worked tirelessly for an hour, running the channels, pressing defenders and leading the line. Created openings with the ball too, although his efforts went unrewarded.
Substitutions
Aritra Das (6.5/10)
Replaced Sajad Hussain around the hour mark and slotted comfortably into the left-back role.
Ayush Chhikara (6/10)
Came on for Manvir Singh alongside Das and looked lively. His through ball sent Thoi behind Odisha’s defence within seconds of the winger’s introduction.
Thoi Singh (8.5/10)

Arrived on his scooter in the 66th minute and immediately changed the tempo of Inter Kashi’s attack. Drifted infield to operate as a No. 10 as the hosts chased the game, before delivering the equaliser with a stunning volley. A decisive contribution from the Player of the Match in the 2025 Durand Cup final.
Aphaoba (6.5/10)
Had limited time to make an impression, but delivered the free-kick that led to Thoi’s equaliser.
Sreekuttan VS (6/10)
A late introduction who had too little time to make a meaningful impact.
Odisha FC Ratings (by Saikat Sengupta)
Hrithik Tiwari (6/10)

The Assam-born keeper failed to keep a clean sheet again after Huidrom scored the equaliser in the 89th minute to make it 1-1 for Inter Kashi. He just faced one shot on target, yet couldn’t make the most of his time in Pune. He also had 0 saves inside the box tonight.
Vanlalzuidika (7/10)
A decent performance from the young right-back to keep Rosenberg Gabriel in control. He made three tackles, two clearances and two interceptions.
Stephen Eze (6.5/10)

Despite being the major protagonist behind that own goal from Pratik Chaudhari near the hour mark, the Nigerian defender had a decent game. He could have done better to get the better of Hitesh Sharma and Manvir Singh up front.
Puitea (8/10)
As usual, Puitea was at his best tonight. He created a lot of chances in the midfield and is a constant threat from the set pieces. His pinpoint-accurate corner finding target man Eze met with a deflection from Pratik before finding the back of the net.
Nandha Kumar Sekar (7.5/10)
Sekar had a terrible start to the ISL against Punjab FC, but did well tonight in the right flank, making those overlapping and accelerated runs to create chances for Eid upfront.
Thoiba Singh (7.5/10)
The goalscorer of the last game also had a good game tonight. Apart from that one shot on target that was converted into a goal by Thoi Singh, Kashi hardly found an opening and had a poor xG of 0.17 throughout the ninety minutes.
Manu Molina (6.5/10)
The former Espanyol and Valencia reserves midfielder played 76 minutes tonight. He made those accurate passes upfront to Sekar and Eid. Overall, he could have done better in the second half, when Kashi were trailing.
Saviour Gama (7.5/10)
Gama, who also had a terrible outing in the last game, redeemed himself and was one of the best players for Odisha tonight. He was a live wire from the left flank and had five passes into the final third tonight.
Rahim Ali (6/10)

The Indian international from West Bengal had a below-par performance. In the player battle between Rahim and Dinliana, it was the latter who got the better of him. Rahim was later subbed off in the final quarter of the game.
Giorgi Aburjania (6.5/10)
The Georgian number 10, who has prior experience playing across Gil Vicente and Real Oviedo, couldn’t impress much, unlike Sekar from the wings. Against an all Indian Kashi defence, Giorgi should have gone all in. He didn’t take a single shot tonight.
Mahmoud Eid (6.5/10)

Odisha created a lot of chances and had eight shots, but the conversion rate from the Palestinian striker upfront was pretty low, as the Juggernauts had only one shot on target and the goal came in as an own goal.
Substitutions
Edwin Vanspaul (6/10)
The former Chennaiyin midfielder could have done better to block Thoi’s vision before he took that rocket of a shot that went in as a goal in the 89th minute of the game.
Everton Nascimento (6/10)
The Brazilian striker was a late gamble, and he didn’t get much time to make an impact tonight.
Lalrinfela Khiangte (7/10)
Khiangte was subbed on near the hour mark and created the most chances in the game tonight for the Juggernauts. His inception rejuvenated the team, and he was just brilliant tonight.
Nihal Sudeesh (6/10)
Sudeesh played 14 minutes tonight and couldn’t impress much. He didn’t create any chances, nor did he take any shots or put in any crosses in the final third from the wings.
Subham Bhattacharya (6.5/10)
The young defender was brought in late and was tasked with the responsibility of offering defensive stability to a team that was defending a narrow one-goal lead in the last quarter. He just made one tackle tonight.
