Jamshedpur FC set to sign talented winger Sreekuttan VS

The club recently announced the contract extension of head coach Khalid Jamil
Jamshedpur FC fans have been growing restless due to the club’s lack of activity in the transfer market, especially as all other ISL teams, except Hyderabad FC, have made significant moves for the 2024-25 season.
“The club wanted to sort out the future of Khalid Jamil first and they have already prepared a list of their potential Indian and foreign players,” said a source close to the development.
“We want to win the ISL. Our fans deserve it for the tremendous support they show every time. We are forming a team that will give their all to achieve this in every training session and match, both players and staff,” said Khalid Jamil after signing a two-year extension on 24 June 2024.
Promising new signing
Jamshedpur FC are set to make their first significant move for the ISL 2024-25 season, closing in on an agreement with talented winger Sreekuttan VS.
Sreekuttan, who has played 69 matches, scored six goals and assisted nine for Gokulam Kerala, has been in high demand, chased by multiple ISL and I-League sides.
“Sreekuttan VS is very much in-demand, but Jamshedpur FC have reached an agreement with the winger and paperwork will be signed in the next few days. It will be a great coup by Khalid Jamil,” said a source tracking the transfer.
Preparing for busy season
With the busiest-ever Indian football calendar ahead, the club are slated to play in the Durand Cup, the Indian Super League and the Super Cup. The club’s pre-season camp is tentatively expected to begin in July, with a series of prospective signings to be announced in the coming weeks.
Jamshedpur FC fans can look forward to an exciting season as the club build a competitive team under Khalid Jamil’s guidance.
