ISL 2025-26: Kerala Blasters FC promote three academy graduates to first team ahead of season

Kerala Blasters FC show their trust in the young ones.
The ISL 2025–26 season will mark a proud moment for Kerala Blasters FC as Ebindas, Jaganath and Ajsal prepare to take the next big step in their journeys by joining the first-team setup.
All three have come through the academy ranks, steadily impressing with their performances and work ethic and their promotion stands as a reward for years of dedication on the training ground. It also reflects the club’s strong belief in giving deserving young players a genuine opportunity at the senior level.
Ebindas Yesudasan

Ebindas Yesudasan steps into the first-team setup as one of the most exciting midfield prospects to emerge from the academy in recent years. An attacking midfielder by trade, Ebindas has already built a reputation for his composure on the ball, eye for a pass, and ability to influence games in the final third. His rise has been steady rather than rushed, shaped by consistent performances across multiple competitions.
The 20-year-old played a key role in lifting the Super League Kerala title, further underlining his readiness for the next level. On the international stage, Ebindas has represented India across the U-16, U-19 and U-20 age groups, featuring in 8 matches for the national youth setup, an experience that has sharpened both his tactical understanding and mental resilience.
Currently part of the club’s RFDL campaign, he is set to link up with the senior squad immediately after the competition concludes, marking a significant step forward in his young career.
Jaganath Jayan

Jaganath Jayan, a 20-year-old defender from the club’s academy, has earned his place in the senior team through consistent growth and versatility. Comfortable operating on either flank, Jaganath can play as both a left-back and right-back, offering tactical flexibility and balance across the defensive line.
Having featured in the Super League Kerala, Jaganath has gained valuable competitive experience at the senior domestic level, helping him mature beyond his age. His promotion to the first team comes alongside fellow academy graduate Ebindas Yesudasan, with both players set to join the senior setup immediately after the conclusion of the ongoing RFDL campaign.
Muhammed Ajsal

Muhammed Ajsal, a 22-year-old forward from the academy, arrives into the senior setup with confidence and momentum on his side. Ajsal was one of the standout performers in the Super League Kerala, where his sharp movement, composure in front of goal, and work rate saw him named Player of the Tournament. His performances were backed by strong numbers, scoring 7 goals and registering 1 assist in 11 matches, underlining his growing influence in the final third.
Beyond his academy journey, Ajsal has already gained valuable experience at the senior club level, having featured for Inter Kashi and Gokulam Kerala, exposure that has helped shape his all-round game and competitive mindset.
He is currently representing Kerala in the Santosh Trophy and will link up with the first team once his state commitments conclude, adding another exciting attacking option as the squad builds towards the ISL 2025–26 season.
