The Kalinga Warriors will start their 2026-27 ISL campaign against Punjab FC
The first phase of fixtures for the 2026-27 Indian Super League (ISL) season has been released. The league is set to kick off on 10th October 2026, with thirteen clubs, including Odisha FC, participating and determined to walk away with the ISL Shield and the ISL Cup.
Odisha FC were one of the clubs that was underprepared before the 2025-26 ISL season. Due to the uncertainty surrounding Indian football at that time, the Kalinga Warriors fielded an all-Indian squad with Carlos Delgado as their solitary foreign player.
Owing to this, the Juggernauts finished the season with just 2 wins from 13 ISL games, finishing 12th with just 11 points in the league.
Though their 2025-26 campaign was underwhelming, the OFC management has trust in TG Purushothaman and has decided to continue with him as their head coach.

The Kalinga Warriors have made some key signings ahead of their 2026-27 ISL campaign. The Kalinga Warriors have signed up the likes of Sachin Suresh, Nihal Sudeesh, Nandhakumar Sekar, Aashir Salim, Hritik Tiwari, Rithwik Das, and Imran Khan, amongst other domestic signings.
With respect to foreign stars, Odisha have roped in Manuel Molina, Everton Nascimento, Giorgi Aburjania, Stephen Eze, and Mahmoud Eid. With an influx of talented players, the Juggernauts will certainly be looking to challenge for a playoff berth this season.
TG Purushothaman’s boys will begin their ISL campaign on 14th October at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi as they travel to face Punjab FC for their season opener. Odisha will then play Inter Kashi away from home before playing their first home game of the season against NorthEast United at the Kalinga Stadium on 24th October.
The Kalinga Warriors have a solitary fixture in November as they play Mohun Bagan ahead of the international break on 5th November. December, on the other hand, will be an exciting month for the club and the home fans, as OFC will play Bengaluru FC, FC Goa, SC Delhi, and Kerala Blasters in front of their passionate fans at the Kalinga Stadium.
The month of January would see the Juggernauts travel across India to play East Bengal, Chennaiyin FC, and Mumbai City before ending the first phase of their season against Churchill Brothers in Goa on 15th January.
