Odisha FC rope in Nihal Sudeesh on two-year-long deal ahead of new ISL season
The Juugernauts keep strengthening their squad
Odisha FC have announced the signing of Indian winger Nihal Sudeesh on a two-year contract, keeping him with the Kalinga Warriors until 2028.
Born in Kochi, Kerala, Sudeesh came through the Kerala Blasters FC youth system after beginning his development with FA Cochin.
His performances in the Reliance Foundation Development League earned him a place in the Kerala Blasters first-team squad for the 2022–23 Indian Super League season.

Sudeesh made his ISL debut for Kerala Blasters in October 2022 against Odisha FC. He went on to establish himself within the first-team setup, scoring his first senior goal for the club in a 3–1 victory over Hyderabad FC in April 2024.
In July 2024, Sudeesh joined Punjab FC on a season-long loan. He made an immediate impact, scoring against Odisha FC in a 2–1 victory and earning the Player of the Match award. During the 2024–25 ISL season, he registered 20 appearances, one goal and two assists for Punjab FC.
Returning to Kerala Blasters for the 2025–26 season, Sudeesh featured in 10 ISL matches, scoring once. He also registered an assist during the 2025–26 Super Cup campaign.
The 25-year-old now begins a new chapter with Odisha FC, bringing his pace, versatility and Indian Super League experience to the Kalinga Warriors.
