Arjun won the Santosh Trophy for Kerala in the 2025-26 season

Odisha FC has announced the signing of Arjun Makkoth Mohanan, with the midfielder signing a contract that will keep him with the Kalinga Warriors until 2029.

The 22-year-old Kerala midfielder joins Odisha FC after progressing through Muthoot FA, where he featured in the Reliance Foundation Development League, making 10 appearances and scoring twice.

Arjun went on to represent Kannur Warriors FC in the Super League Kerala, playing 10 matches during their 2025 title-winning campaign. His performances also earned him a place in the Kerala Santosh Trophy squad for the 2025–26 season, where Kerala finished runners-up.

Speaking after completing his move, Arjun said.

“I’m very happy to join Odisha FC and grateful for the opportunity to take this next step in my career.”

“I’m looking forward to learning, competing at the highest level and contributing to the team whenever called upon. I’ll give everything I have to this club and its supporters.”

Firstly, the Juggernauts retained their core Indian strength with four key retentions as Odisha FC announced contract extensions for Suhair VP, Edwin Sydney Vanspaul Henry, Lalthathanga Khawlhring (Puitea) and Tejas Krishna, securing the futures of four members of the first-team squad.

On the most recent signing, they have also roped in Hrithik Tiwari from FC Goa after he had a great 2025-26 Indian Super League season, clinching the Golden Glove award for the most clean sheets and most saves in the campaign. To strengthen the goalkeeping position, they also signed Sachin Suresh from Kerala Blasters FC, and in attack, Nanndha Kumar and Nihal Sudeesh joined the side.

In the foreign contingent of the Juggernauts, they got an ample amount of quality ballers in their squad ahead of the upcoming ISL season as they announced the signings of Stephen Eze, a league-proven defender to lead the backline, Giorgi Aburjania, Manu Molina, Mahmoud Eid and Everton Nascimento.
