ISL 2024-25: Updated Points Table, most goals, and most assists after match 108, FC Goa vs Chennaiyin FC

The Gaurs ended up winning with a clean sheet in hand.

FC Goa have extended their unbeaten run and have strengthened their ISL league shield credential with an important win against Chennaiyin FC at home. The Gaurs started on the front foot and brought Mohammad Nawaz into action twice in the opening minutes before Iker Guarrotxena opened the scoring in the 11th minute. The Spaniard reacted first and put the ball behind the net to put the home side 1-0 up.

Aakash Sangwan tested Nawaz once again a few minutes later, but the keeper stood tall before Sangwan eventually scored past him. The hosts looked dominant and took a 2-0 lead into half-time. Chennaiyin FC came out all guns blazing in the second half and created a couple of big goal-scoring chances, but just couldn’t find the back of the net.
