Punjab FC came out on top of their opponents.

Punjab FC continued their fine run of form and took down Hyderabad FC at home in a comfortable 2-0 encounter. It was Punjab’s third win on the trot and their second at home. Ezequiel Vidal opened the scoring for the home side in the 25th minute with his debut Indian Super League (ISL) goal and put his side in the driving seat.

The Shers came out all guns blazing in the second half and tested the visitors a lot of times. Filip Mrzljak found the back of the net with his second strike in the ISL and put the game past Hyderabad FC to help his side secure all three points. Things have gone from bad to worse for the Nizams and there seems to be no improvement at all.
