ISL 2024-25: Updated Points Table, most goals, and most assists after match 21, Odisha FC vs Kerala Blasters FC
Odisha FC staged a hard-fought comeback against Kerala Blasters in the 21st of the 2024-25 Indian Super League (ISL) season. Kerala Blasters started strong with Jesus Jimenez setting up Noah Sadaoui for a mouth-watering opener in the 18th minute. Noah returned the favor in the 21st minute and set up Jesus Jimenez for a second goal giving Odisha FC a wake-up call.
Ahmed Jahouh tried his luck on goal with his shot from outside the box before Alexandre Coeff put the ball into his net and gave away a goal. Deigo Mauricio combined well with Jerry Mawihmingthanga and scored the equalizer for the home side. Both teams had a few chances to go ahead in the tie but just couldn’t convert their chances before the referee signaled full-time.
A brief look at the points table
Bengaluru FC continues to sit at the top of the table with three wins and a draw in four games. Punjab FC and Jamshedpur FC continue to be in the second and third positions respectively. Kerala Blasters have jumped up to the fourth position while FC Goa have dropped down to the fifth position. NorthEast United FC are still ranked sixth with four points to their name.
Chennaiyin FC are in the seventh position and Mohammedan Sporting are placed eighth. Odisha FC have come up to the ninth place while the tenth position is held by Mohun Bagan. Mumbai City FC are placed eleventh with two points and Hyderabad FC are now ranked 12th while East Bengal continue to be at the bottom of the table.
