ISL side Punjab FC announce the signing of Alfred Planas Moya

Punjab FC announced the signing of Spanish forward Alfred Planas Moya on a one-year contract, with the deal set to keep him at the club until May 31, 2027.
Planas joins the Shers from Inter Kashi FC after impressing during the 2025-26 season as Punjab FC now look to revamp their squad after the departure of some key players and their head coach.
A new challenge for Planas
A product of the youth academies of Espanyol, Málaga CF and CF Damm, Planas began his senior career in Spain before representing clubs including UE Sant Andreu, CF Reus Deportiu, AD Alcorcón, Elche CF, Valencia Mestalla, Marbella FC, Unionistas and Sestao River.
He moved to India with Gokulam Kerala in 2025 before joining Inter Kashi ahead of the 2025-26 Indian Super League season, where he made an immediate impact, scoring five goals and providing one assist in 13 appearances.

A major revamp for Punjab FC
Punjab FC are undergoing a major revamp ahead of the 2026-27 ISL season as they are not playing in the upcoming Durand Cup. And we are talking about major changes for The Shers, with some big names from their squad joining other ISL sides ahead of the new season.
Panagiotis Dilmperis joins Mohun Bagan SG as the head coach after a great season with Punjab FC. Under his management, they played a very good brand of football.
Not only him, but also two of the defensive players of Punjab FC, Pramveer and Samir Zeljković, have also left the club. Pramveer, the young defender, joined Northeast United FC ahead of the new season while Samir signed for Mohun Bagan SG to upgrade their defensive solidity.
Khaimin Lhungdim was one of the standout performers for The Shers in the last season, as he emerged as one of the most talked-about players in the transfer market.
Despite all the link-ups and rumours regarding his departure, he is set to remain at Punjab FC and continue with The Shers for the 2026-27 season.
