Mumbai City FC made a brilliant comeback at the end of the ISL semi-final first leg against FC Goa.

Mumbai City FC fought back from behind and ended FC Goa’s unbeaten run with a mind-blowing comeback win at the Fatorda Stadium in the Indian Super League (ISL). The Islanders have put on foot in the ultimate game and have pushed FC Goa on the back foot.

Yasir controlled the ball beautifully and set it up perfectly for Boris to open the scoring for the home side early in the game. Chhangte and Krouma created the away side’s first chance, but Dheeraj Singha and FC Goa’s backline cleared the danger.

Noah Sadaoui came up with a brilliant chance just before half-time as he took a shot on the turn but it went wide just before the referee blew the half-time whistle. FC Goa positively started the second half as Brandon Fernandes scored a goal straight from the heavens and put the Gaurs 2-0 up.

Udanta Singh and Odei Onaindia combined well and almost scored the third goal for the home side, but Phurba Lachenpa brought out a brilliant save to deny them. Everything seemed perfect, and FC Goa cruised comfortably until Lallianzuala Chhangte spoiled their party.

The Indian International pulled a goal back in the 90th minute before Vikram equalized the Islanders a couple of minutes later. And then Chhangte scored the winning goal for the Islanders in the final minute of the game and pulled off a win to remember for his side.
